Can you help the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership to support and grow the area’s visitor economy?
The LEP is looking for business leaders from the tourism, hospitality, retail, arts and events sectors in Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland to join its existing Visitor Economy Board.
The successful candidates will help lead the visitor economy sector in Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland towards a brighter future focusing on economic recovery and growth following the pandemic.
“Our visitor economy is normally worth over £2.39 billion per annum and it supports at least 30,000 full-time equivalent jobs, but for much of the pandemic our hotels, restaurants and visitor attractions have been closed,” said Pat Doody, Chair of the Greater Lincolnshire LEP.
“We’re looking for well connected, experienced and motivated business people who can work with the LEP to make an active contribution to the strategic advisory board as it supports the whole of the visitor economy sector and shapes and influences its future direction.”
If you are interested in applying, send your CV and a covering letter describing your business and where it is based, what part of the sector you represent and how you can engage the rest of the visitor economy sector.
Roles are voluntary, the board meets every two months, and board members would serve an initial term of three years.
For an informal chat about these roles call Nicola Radford on 07500 992115.
Applications should be emailed to sue.groves@lincolnshire.gov.uk and the deadline is 30th July 2021.
