Team Lincolnshire is a partnership between the private and public sector brought together to attract business investment in to Lincolnshire. It is made up of businesses in Lincolnshire from a variety of sectors which become Lincolnshire ambassadors in return for an annual subscription fee.
Their job is simply to shout about what Lincolnshire has to offer for the wider business community. By working together, Lincolnshire’s voice becomes much stronger.
Team Lincolnshire evolved from a number of businesses attending MIPIM, a major international property show, four years ago. Providing sponsorship to support the LEP's attendance at MIPIM has enabled Greater Lincolnshire to be not only be represented within the Midlands UK pavilion, but also to hold its own at regional, national and international events.
Over the next two years Team Lincolnshire is aiming to grow the development sector in the county through social media engagement and pop-up events throughout the area.
As well as growing this sector, Team Lincolnshire is working to attract further investment into Greater Lincolnshire. By working with the LEP to shout about Lincolnshire’s strengths as well as addressing the county’s weaknesses, Lincolnshire is rapidly becoming a better and more attractive place to invest.
Team Lincolnshire has put in place a strong external engagement strategy to maximise the county’s reach in attracting inward business investment into Lincolnshire. As well as strengthening the team’s social media messaging, Team Lincolnshire will continue to organise, host and attend meetings beyond the county including in Birmingham and possibly Leeds.
The team is also continuing to engage with stakeholders in Government, working closely with the Department for International Trade.
