Nearly 3,000 international delegates visited the Midlands UK Pavilion at the MIPIM property expo in Cannes in March, where Team Lincolnshire was out in force promoting Greater Lincolnshire to the world.

Team Lincolnshire took part in three major events in the Midlands UK Pavilion: the Midlands Housing Challenge panel, the visitor economy panel and an event promoting enterprise zones at which Greater Lincolnshire showcased its three Food Enterprise Zones.

A further highlight during MIPIM was a Lincolnshire brunch featuring award-winning sausages from Redhill Farm, which attracted around 130 hungry visitors.

Team Lincolnshire is made up of Lincolnshire County Council, the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership and 30 private-sector sponsors, 23 of whom attended in person.

LEP Director Ruth Carver said: “We know that Greater Lincolnshire is a great place to live and work and we took our area to the world stage at this year's MIPIM. It was a great opportunity for us to forge new connections and promote our county to potential investors and developers as a place for them to grow their business.

“We've come away with dozens of significant leads, with lots of interest from the hotel sector in particular.”
