Three organisations have collaborated to create a series of webinars to support Lincolnshire's schools.
The Confident Choices webinar series run jointly by the Greater Lincolnshire LEP, Complete Careers and Linc Higher consists of a weekly 30-minute webinar looking at a variety of careers education topics.
The webinars, currently in their third week, are aimed at careers leaders in secondary schools and have already proven popular.
Schools are required to work strategically to ensure young people receive quality careers information advice and guidance, a task made more difficult when schools are closed because of the pandemic.
The free webinars are being run until July to provide staff with a weekly session that can help them develop their careers programme ready for when schools re-open.
Sessions are delivered by staff from the three organisations with guest webinars from Bishop Grosseteste University's Lincolnshire Open Research and Innovation Centre (LORIC), BG Futures, The Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) and PAN Associates.
If you would like to know more about the webinar series, or if you're interested in supporting schools with careers education, please email Alex Nightingale, Enterprise Coordinator at The Greater Lincolnshire LEP.
“As a group of organisations supporting schools with careers education we felt it was really important to continue to provide as much support as we can," said Alex.
"Across Lincolnshire there has been some really positive progression in the quality of careers education, and we want to build on the last 12 months and not lose momentum.
"It's great to collaborate under the Confident Choices banner with the partner organisations, and we have already received some really positive feedback."
