Praise for Marketing Lincolnshire Website
The agency that created the new Marketing Lincolnshire website has been highly commended for its work.
The new Marketing Lincolnshire website is a popular tool for people who want to shout about what Lincolnshire has to offer. Now it’s in the spotlight after the agency that created it for the LEP was highly commended for its work.
Lincoln-based Optima Design won the accolade in the Product of the Year category at the Lincolnshire Technology and Innovation Awards in May.
Marketing Lincolnshire is an innovative free website that enables users to choose from a diverse library of content in order to promote Lincolnshire to the rest of the world.
The aim is to raise the profile of the area, encourage inward investment, aid recruiting and present relocating to Lincolnshire as an appealing lifestyle choice.
Optima won a Greater Lincolnshire LEP tender for a place marketing project and consulted a range of stakeholders through one-to-one interviews, phone calls and workshops to gather information, stories, quotes and imagery. In total more than 100 people from across Greater Lincolnshire were interviewed.
Marketing Lincolnshire contains over 1,200 facts, interesting statistics, inspiring photographs, beautiful videos, engaging quotes, case studies and specific investment opportunities, all of which are free to access for anyone who wants to promote Lincolnshire to others.
“We are incredibly proud of what we achieved for this project,” said Julian Havenhand of Optima Design.
“It is early days for this project, and the website has not yet been widely promoted. But it has been demonstrated in London, Cannes and Lincoln and a number of early investment and recruiting successes have been reported.
“The feedback received so far has been extremely positive. The site is being regularly used by all of the various different stakeholders to promote Lincolnshire to interested parties, from foreign investors at MIPIM in Cannes and Team Lincolnshire contacts to companies recruiting to high level positions from abroad.”
