Our new Health and Care Enterprise Board has held its first workshop...
As part of our commitment to improving the prosperity of Greater Lincolnshire we recognised that the health and social care sector in our area provides a good opportunity for potential improvement.
That's why we've created a Health and Care Enterprise Board chaired by Dean Fathers, one of our Board Directors, to provide focused attention and input into the LEP’s Local Industrial Strategy.
A workshop staged on 27th February at the University of Lincoln was our first consultation with key stakeholders in the health and care sector. We will now go out to people who may be interested in joining the Health and Care Enterprise Board and ask them to work up meaningful support programmes which will enhance delivery of our area’s health and economic outcomes.
“I was delighted to see so many senior people from across the health and care spectrum turn up, show such a great commitment to the purpose of the new Board and demonstrate an enthusiastic willingness to collaborate on the board’s important agenda,” said Dean.
“Greater Lincolnshire has such potential to capitalise on its almost unique position and deliver considerable long-term improvements in both its health and its economic prosperity.”
