Team Lincolnshire has had a busy few months and has celebrated signing up its 100th member.

Team Lincolnshire, our growing ambassador programme, has had a busy few months and has just celebrated signing up its 100th member.

Oldrids & Downtown, one of the county's oldest and best-loved retailers, is the 100th company to join Team Lincolnshire since its launch in November 2017.

“As a proud Lincolnshire family company, we felt it was important as a business to put our support behind Team Lincolnshire and the great work that they do in promoting the county to a wider audience.

Team Lincolnshire members have been spreading the word to major cities across the UK and forging ties with businesses and investors from all over the country.

In November the Team Lincolnshire in Leeds event brought together companies from across the region to showcase the county’s potential for inward investment.

One of the speakers was Professor Simon Pearson, Professor of Agri-food Technology at the University of Lincoln, who talked about how Lincolnshire’s agricultural heritage and reputation for innovation makes it the perfect proving ground for the technologies of the future.

Team Lincolnshire is a public/private sector ambassador programme brought together to attract investment across Greater Lincolnshire. Its members include representatives from property, construction, law, retail, agritech and leisure.
