£5 million to support SMEs
NewsIn September last year the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub received a £5 million cash boost from the European Regional Development Fund to support small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) across Greater Lincolnshire.
This support provides the opportunity to accelerate economic growth and create job opportunities across the county. It includes access to free expert advice from industry experts and growth advisers, with a variety of workshops and seminars available to local businesses.
Funding support is also available in the form of grants ranging from £1,000 to £10,000.
Since the launch of Business Lincolnshire’s Growth Lincolnshire programme in September almost 250 Lincolnshire businesses have received support and advice from the service. Seventy-five of these businesses have already received over 12 hours’ worth of support and guidance to help grow and develop.
Eligible SMEs can access the programme to better understand their current business position and their projected future development, as well as to get help with saving money, increasing turnover, reaching new markets and increasing use of digital technology, to name a few.
Business Lincolnshire would like to hear from growing businesses of any size in Greater Lincolnshire as there is lots of other support and funding available in addition to Growth Lincolnshire. The Growth Hub also provides specialist support for individuals looking to start a business, so get in touch if you’d like help.
Further information and full details of all the support programmes and the grants available can be found by searching the Advice and Grant Scheme Finder on the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub website: www.businesslincolnshire.com.
