The CERES Agri-Tech team are pleased to announce new calls for various projects.

Agri-Tech Global

Agri-Tech Global is designed to translate UK agri-tech research and build international academic and commercial links for partner universities Lincoln, Cambridge and UEA to facilitate commercialisation. This is funded by Research England and the programme has both small and larger project awards available.

The programme supports impact delivery for plant agri-tech technologies, eg plant or crop sciences, robotics, chemistry or computer science, which support the crop-based production sector and its supply chains in Lincolnshire and the East of England.

Projects must be internationally collaborative, preferably with universities or businesses from the US, Australia and the Netherlands. The secondary aim is to build international links that may enhance the economy and society in the region.

Researchers are invited to submit an expression of interest which will be reviewed and, if selected, the Ceres Agri-tech Global team will work with you to develop your idea into a full proposal and pitch.

LINCAM Funding to Translate Research

LINCAM awards are designed to support the translation and commercialisation of crop based agri-tech research to improve the region’s crop-based production and supply chains. Projects must have a positive economic, environmental and social impact in the LINCAM region (Greater Lincolnshire and North Cambridgeshire).

Projects must be more than 50% in EPSRC scope (eg AI, robotics companies, digital plant breeding, net zero engineering etc) and are funded with IAA rules (no FEC).

Researchers are invited to submit an expression of interest. Projects will be reviewed and if selected to progress the Ceres Agri-tech Global team will work with you to develop your idea and pitch.

The programme has two parallel funding strands, one focused on academics and researchers at Lincoln and Cambridge Universities, the other on academics and researchers from other universities and RTOs across the country.
