We are delighted to announce that Effie Warwick-John has joined the Greater Lincolnshire LEP team as the UKFV Programme Manager.

Her role represents an important resource for the UKFV and Effie will be focused on driving the programme’s initiatives and activity alongside the UKFV team.

Effie comes from an industry background and has four years’ experience in project management within the agri-tech space in Lincolnshire, having previously graduated from the University of Lincoln’s MSc in Agri-food Technology. Combining her education and commercial background, Effie will be a hugely positive addition to the UKFV in delivering our goals towards becoming a top 10 global cluster.

Effie said: “I’m really excited to be part of the LEP team! The agri-food industry is something I am very passionate about, especially within Lincolnshire where there is so much potential. I am really looking forward to meeting a lot of the agri-food businesses within the county to learn more about the huge amounts of innovation and development that are happening, and to understand any key opportunities to help drive the UKFV forward”.

The Greater Lincolnshire LEP and UK Food Valley are delighted to welcome Effie as the first dedicated resource to this priority agenda, bringing a wealth of food industry and R&D experience to the role, and who makes a valuable and critical addition to the team.

Effie would love to hear from you to connect and understand your organisation or business, any food sector work or development you are undertaking, challenges you may be facing, and opportunities available.
